what an irony....

similar thoughts being echoed by all;
similar grudges being felt...
similar ambitons to pursue;
similar issues to be dealt...

similar excitement surrounding the future;
simillar concerns of fulfilling expectations...
similar memories, similar lessons;
similar tensions, similar palpitations...

similar values to hold;
similar moments of grief and glory...
similar beings on this earth;
all with a distinct story...

thought my thoughts were my own;
untill i gave a look around...
heard the same old stories being told;
few of them sounding vague, others rather profound...

with all knowing where they faltered;
with all pleading for forgiveness...
still maintaining the same negativity;
that all seems meaningless...

wish we could part with double standards;
and bring the synergies...
wish we could all complement each other;
and nourish all energies....
